How easy it is to read that and think, oh isn't that nice. How hard it is to live that every day, continually making the conscious choice to believe it.
Think about it... God is FAITHFUL in His love for us, period. There are no conditions whatsoever on His love. And it is better than life.. like, everything in life! All the good gifts that God has given us, and they are all nothing compared to the One that they came from! As the recipients of this awesome privilege, our natural response should be to glorify God.
So what does it mean when we aren't glorifying God for His faithful love? The logical conclusion would be that we aren't believing that His faithful love IS better than life.
Why do we get that little seed of discontent deep in our souls? We are denying that He is the best thing in life: that God is good.. maybe He would be better if He gave us something that we don't have.
So how's your attitude towards God lately? Are you glorifying Him because He's the BEST thing in your life? Or maybe you keep getting sidetracked by things that cause you to think that He's jipping you.
It's a conscious choice that must be made constantly.. i pray that God would help me to make the right choice more often.. the only one that is truly satisfying.
