God's Word/Bread Analogy

Sure, God gives us good gifts to enjoy here on earth, but that's not supposed to be the point of life.  How the bread tastes in your mouth all depends on what you're doing with the words of God.  Don't be satisfied with just the packaging - don't eat the box!

If life tastes like cardboard, you're probably chewing the box!

Yep. I went to Northland from 2000-2004. When have you attended Northland?

Hmmm. You really ask the big questions. How did Northland have an affect on me beyond school? Well they taught me to trust God for great things as I took steps to follow God. Sometimes we don't see the provision but we know that God wants us in a place. I have decided to move in a direction that God wants me and trust Him to provide and when that provision ends then realize that my time is over. This began at school when I went to school with no money knowing that God wanted me there. Doc O and Dr. Horn said to come and see what God will do, so I did. And God provided through every payment. From there God began a journey of trust in every area of my life from friends to fulfilled desires. My time with God has been growing and essential to my walk with God (something I learned at home and grew at college). I have learned about sacrifice in order to grow and many other things. I would emphasize that great things don't end at college but are just a taste of what is to come. I would advice to learn to get to know God and grow to trust Him. Shape your prayer life around all that you do. How have you seen God work in your life this past year? Yes, this is a works of God testimony. :)

PS I like your recommended CD.

Umm...please do me a huge favor and don't visit the previous xanga that just visited here before I did...(on your footprints) It's really important you don't. I'll explain later.

But as far as your post--I thought bread usually came in a plastic bag...not a cardboard box! haha
